Lost Via Domus Quick Achievement Guide Part I: Episodes 1-3

So I hit the sack last night with 1600 points already, and hopefully that score should significantly improve over the course of today. The first game I played was Lost: Via Domus for a really simple 1000. Took me about 3 and a half hours of play time. It's easy enough to finish, but I thought I would write a quick achievement guide for it just in case there is someone here who hasn't played it and would like a bit of help.

The guide is written in the order that you get the achievements. It's set out by episode. You can check out the full (and better written) guide by clicking here. If, however, you want to play through the game without help but just don't want to miss any achievements, then this little guide will do the job.

IMPORTANT: At the beginning of Episode 5, buy a gun from Charlie for $110. You should have enough but if not there are plenty of items around the beach, and also the "Apollo Bar" in the hatch is worth $50 on it's own.

Episode 1
815 - Discover All The Memories In Flashback 1.
Get a photo of Kate being handed a bottle of water, then examine the backpack, photos and magazines to your left.

Save The Castaways - Prevent the Fuel Leak From Igniting.
Solve the fuse puzzle at the back of the plane. Bear in mind that after this is complete you can remove the fuses from the puzzle for you to use later.

Crash Survivor - Complete the Episode
Self-Explanatory, you can't miss this.

Episode 2
Sweet Memory - Discover All The Memories In Flashback 2
Snap a picture of Lisa posing by the fisherman. Make sure the fisherman is in the picture. The examine the recorder and newspaper to the left and the diary to the right.

Locate the Cockpit - Complete the Episode

Again, can't be missed.

Episode 3
Behind the Glass - Discover All The Memories In Flashback 3
Take a photo of Lisa with the sign "Rico's Shop" above her. Examine the recorder and the note on the desk, then the article on the boxes.

Blackmailer - Blackmail Locke
Can't miss this one, it's straight after the flashback.

4 8 15 16 23 42 - Photograph the Numbers
When you reach the hatch, take out your camera and get a photo of the numbers of the side.

Beam of Light - Photograph the Beam of Light
When you leave the hatch and go to the next area, simply turn around and go back to the hatch. You will see what you need to snap.

Via Domus - Complete the Episode
Can't be missed.

New Year, New Challenge

How much GamerScore can one person achieve in a single year?

It's an interesting question and one which I feel needs answering, so on that basis I'm going to find out.

DC Overachiever was created on 21/12/2009. I'd venture an estimate at how many XBL accounts I have had in total but I fear I can't count that high. However, never before have I had something to work towards like this. One year from now, we will see just how much I have achieved over the 12 months between now and then.

I'm aiming for 100,000. At the least.

This blog has been created to chronicle my journey. On these pages you will find news, reviews, GamerScore updates, achievement guides and random musings from yours truly. If achievements aren't a topic which interest you then you are in the wrong place. If you, like me, are out to increase your score as much as possible, then show some support. Message me, FR me, post a comment on here, subscribe, follow, hell - do anything. A little encouragement goes a long way.

Wish me luck.
